CMSI order portal
This portal is used to submit project requests to Chalmers Mass Spectrometry Infrastructure (CMSI), a SciLifeLab-affiliated national infrastructure providing metabolomics, lipidomics, and small-molecule mass spectrometry services.
Access follows BioMS and SciLifeLab guidelines, and is open to Swedish academic users, as well as international academic, healthcare, governmental, and industry users. Highest priority is given to Swedish academic users. Projects are evaluated based on scientific quality, technical feasibility, and available capacity.
We strongly encourage users to discuss their project with CMSI staff prior to submission, for example during our recurring drop-in sessions at Chalmers:

To submit a project, register an account, wait for approval, and then select the most appropriate form:
• CMSI Project Request Form – for analytical services using established methods.
• CMSI Method Development & Feasibility Request – for projects requiring new analytical methods, optimization of existing methods, validation, or feasibility assessments.
After submission, the CMSI team will review the request and contact you to discuss project details, timelines, analytical strategy, and quotations.
Choose this form when you want CMSI to perform metabolomics, lipidomics, PFAS analysis, targeted quantification, or other mass spectrometry analyses on your samples.
CMSI will evaluate your request, propose an analytical strategy, and provide a quotation where applicable.
Use this form to request a consultation with CMSI staff regarding analytical strategies, project planning, method selection, feasibility assessments, laboratory access, instrument training, or other CMSI-related questions.
Choose this form if no suitable analytical method currently exists, if a method needs to be developed or transferred, or if you would like CMSI to evaluate the feasibility of a new analytical approach.
